These cookies are perfect served with almost any flavor tea but served with a lavender or lemon tea is especially lovely. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1/4 MEYER LEMON OLIVE OIL
1 CUP BUTTER
1 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
1 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR
2 TABLESPOONS CULINARY LAVENDER
+ more to sprinkle on top
2 EGGS
2 TEASPOONS VANILLA
3 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1 TEASPOON SALT
1/2 TEASPOON SEA SALT to sprinkle on top

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Thoroughly mix olive oil, butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients until dough is formed. Form dough into one inch balls and use your thumb to create an indention on each cookie (to hold the Culinary Lavender), place dough balls two inches apart onto an uncreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle Culinary Lavender on top of each cookie and bake for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack
